Cancellation policy

At Merrindale Medical, we are committed to providing our patients with high-quality, personalised care. To ensure that all patients receive timely and efficient service, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

  1. Appointment Cancellations and Rescheduling
    We require at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the time slot to another patient in need of care.

  2. Late Cancellations and No-Show Fee

    • If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, a late cancellation fee of $50 will apply.

    • For missed appointments (no-shows), a no-show fee of $75 will be charged.

    • These fees are not covered by Medicare or private health insurance and must be paid before booking any future appointments.

  3. Emergency Exceptions
    We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you are unable to attend your appointment due to an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible.
